A sleepless morning

I must figure out how to fix the time on the blog. I was typing at 1:30 am Tuesday and it published it still as Monday. Oh, well I'll add that to the list. Probably not that high though.

Well it was around 3am when I went to sleep. But sleep was still restless. Tony's alarm goes off at 6:20am M-F. I hit snooze and then when it goes off again, we listen to the radio for a little bit before he gets in the shower, around 6:50am. I go feed the dogs and then let them out into the backyard.

So after all of that this morning, I tried to go back to sleep as I normally do but couldn't. I got up and got to my coffee maker before Tony could make it for me. It is going to be a high caffeine day! I've started a load of laundry and worked a little on the short shopping list. I need to run more laundry, pack, prep Tony's meals for the days I'm gone, clean the rabbit, bird and beardie cages, and go do the shopping. Oh, and work on the website outline so Sunday afternoon we can upload it! No Maureen I haven't forgotten.

But first I will finish this and spend much needed time in God's word and pray some more. I've been praying for a friend in Missouri who has cancer. God has given him more time than those stupid doctors he first had, but now the cancer is back. This group of doctors isn't giving up, but it really isn't looking good. I'd really love for this to be one of those times that God steps in and heals him, but I know that is probably not in God's plan. It is really hard sometimes to remember that this isn't our final place, we are here but for a short time. We make these relationships and then it stings when they go away. But we must have faith that God will get us through it and that there is a bigger plan in our life. Doug and Judy I am praying for you!!!
